on the site v8archiethey have a kit that enables fiero's to swap an 8Cyl in their car (which can include a 350 TA engine). Do you guys think that that kit might work for our cars? well except for the engine mounts. i got the 2.8L V6 here is his site V8archie what u guys think? Tom

your buying parts you don't need if you get the kit. waste of money if you ask me

here is a list of the parts in the kit that would be pointless to have

*Front Engine Mount
*Printed & Video Instructions
*Custom Exhaust System with Manifolds
*Pressure Plate Bolts
*Correct Flywhee
*Flywheel Bolts
*Throttle Cable Mount
*Radiator Hoses (6)


you don't need ANY of that NONE will work right in the firebird.

first off on our cars you don't have a motor mount in the front of the motor. you have two on each side then the trans mount

2nd you don't need the Transmission Adapter Plate cuz you need a v-8 700R-4 trans or anything that will bolt up to the V-8 block (like the TH400. TH350, 200R4, 700R4 ect.)

the exhust won't work at all cuz its custom to work in the fiero

all in all its a waste of money.

you could always go big & do the Northstar conversion, or maybe een one of the newer 3.4 roller engines. It will slide right in like teh f-body swap
