car is completely dead

I just dropped in my 383 and got everything hooked up. Now everything on the car is dead: lights, starter, windows, wipers....... The only thing that works is the alarm that keeps going off and giving me ****. I dunno where to even begin looking for problems. All the power and grounds look ok. Any help?

Small wire(s) that go on the same starter terminal where the battery cable goes are not hooked up

Chances are you have a bad ground. There is a ground strap that goes from the chasis to the engine (usually where one of the trans bellhousing bolts are.) More than likely this is your problem.

Also make sure your batter cables and b+ wires are not interanly corroded and britle.
