clutch wont fully disengage

hey guys. i got a t-5 on a L98 and the thing just will not disengage the clutch. for the life of me i cannot get into into gear when the car is running. i bled the damn thing 50 times...pumped the crap out of it...i even got a new slave cylinder ($75). i've dropped my trans like 5 times in the last month..I DONT WANNA DO IT AGAIN! lol...anyway, i did all this be myself and i admit im no mechanic or anything so im guessing it may be my wrong doings somewhere. is there supposed to be a spring that pushes the yoke off the flywheel at all? because after the slave cylinder has beeln holding the clutch on the flywheel i cant see how it "pulls" it off the flywheel when the clutch pedal is pressed.

So which way is yours installed? Got it in wrong? Then you don't have much choice.

If its got the '82/83 mechanical clutch linkage, look at the Z-bar... one of the levers may be cracked.

That happened to me last June. Took about 45 mins to remove, 10 to weld it back together, and about 1/2 hour to reinstall.
