not having a manual is like not having a 9/16 socket, i think i'd buy a manual.

Your torque on the intake manifold bolts is 35 foot pounds, The runner bolts is 25 foot pounds, and the exhaust manifold bolts are 20 foot pounds, fuel rail to manifold bolts are 15 foot pounds, and throttle body to plenum is 18 foot pounds.

Is that special for TPI applications? I have always read to torque the intake between 20 and 30. I usually torque mine to 28 or so.

Yes, that is for a TPI Set-up as far as the torque on the runners, fuel rail, and throttle body, the torque on a TBI throttle body is 16 foot pounds and the nuts for the fuel lines are 22 foot pounds, the torque on the intake and exhaust manifolds are the same for both set-ups on a stock factory engine. With the modifications listed in your signature Shifty, your torque values might be different and used according to the Edelbrock specifications.

Yea thats what I thought. I always go over 16 pounds because it doesn't even seem that the intake is seated when it is like that. I think my chiltons says 10 on the first pass and 20 on the second. I just go 25 to 28ish and never have leaks.
