EGR Block off plate for 95 LT1...What all do I need?

Do I just need the block off plate or is there more to it? Where can I get one? Reason im removing it is because I have some 82-92 headers and the LT1's EGR line goes to the exhaust manifold not to the block like our motors. Thanks.

Just need to make one where the tube goes from the intake manifold right? Considering I don't have to block it off from the exhaust manifold, or is there one im missing?

If you're putting on headers that don't have EGR then dont worry about that end. There is one on the back on the intake that you will have to block off right beside the EGR valve, which I would block off too. I've used 1/4" steel for mine.

I made mine out of a $.19 electrical box cover. It's thick and easy to cut with a dremel. I used some RTV and it works perfectly.

if you have headers without the egr hookup then you only have to cover the upper square hole right under the egr valve. No need to cover the hole where the tube hooks to the manifold if you block off the top hole under the valve. I leave the other 2 holes open, if you cover them you're just trapping hot air inside the manifold. The easy way is to loosen ther egr valve, then slide a thin piece of metal between the valve and manifold to cover the top hole, then clamp it in place with the valve. If you really like the hacked ghetto look you can whack the diaphram off the valve.

remove the egr valve, there's 2 holes under it. The square hole on top is all you have to plug up. Just put a little piece of metal over it and put the egr valve back on top of it to hold it in place
