350 is easier to find parts for, they are cheaper to buy/build and will make more power. Do the 350, you won't regret it.

Engine swap from 305

I have a 305 that runs real good and strong however it has over 100,000 miles and leaks oil in two or three places from underneath. I have spent $1500 on the trans and just spent $700 on the front end. Shifts and handles great! I would like to continue the work and eliminate the leaks which I assume would mean pulling the engine. (Its more than a leaking oil pan)

How much should I expect to pay to have the 305 pulled and rebuilt and also have the 305 pulled and changed to a 350.

Appreciate your feedback
