383 stroker

well it looks like i can get a 383 stroker for 1,700. seems like the best thing i can find as of yet so probably end up going that route. be a couple weeks b4 i got the cash so ill keep exploring options until then

to bad your not from around here...this guy i wurk with has a 65-70 Dodge Monaco... original 383 storker 63,000 on it.. he wants 1,500 for the car And motor.. motor runs GREAT... and the car would be a great derby car

Uh, the Mopar 383 is, well, a Mopar engine.

Around these parts, a "383 stroker" is a small block Chevy engine.

Yep, a Dodge 383 is just that... a Dodge motor. Its a big block. Almost the same as a 440.
