Mounting the tranny?

ok in the thread that five7kid wrote about a means of mounting the torque arm on the transmission if it didnt come from a 3rd gen f-body would anyone know the part number on that B&M bracket that it mounts with?

1987 pontiac firebird original v6 car swapped to a chevy 355 small block with forged crank, and cast flat tops, proflo high rise intake , comp cam with 532 lift, seal pro lifters, chevy pink rods, accel superstock 8.0's, holley 780 cfm double pumper carb HP series, ported polished and milled 2.02 heads with new valve guides 882 casting, flowtech headers, and y pipe, w/ 3" catback, chopped catilytic converter (illegal but ks cops dont enforce) and a 80's series flowmaster, turbo 350 trans w/B&M shifter (Spun rod)

New project same engine after polishing crank 9:1 compression flat tops added with a set of 461 castings ported and polished plus a valve job and a 2700 stall converter, and a 3.73 rear end

I saw a ford keep up with a chevy once...then the tow rope broke

What transmission are you putting in?

Get an f-body tailshaft housing. Remove the one on there, install the f-body housing.

Or, get the Spohn crossmember/torque arm combination. Moves the torque arm mount to the crossmember, where it should have been from the factory. Much superior design.
