2.8 L to 5.7

I would like to swap my 2.8 L V6 for a 5.7 L V8. What the heck am I going to have to do? Is this even possible? I'm looking at buying a crate motor from the dealer. Someone help please!

If you want to do it the easy way, sell the car and buy one that already has a 5.7. It will save you a lot of time, headaches and money.

It would be easier, yes. But there's no satisfaction like listening to that new engine that YOU swapped in fire up for the first time.

i did the swap and it was way worth the time and money i spent to make my car run like it does, not to mention its my car, not some guy's car i bought, the swap is pretty costly i spent well over 4 grand on my motor but it runs like a striped @$$ ape, and keeps the mustangs in my rearview mirror, i'd do the swap if i were you, but beware it takes a lot of choice words and budwieser to get through the swap
