86 camaro to 87 firebird engine swap

I have a 1986 camaro with a 1987 5.0L firebird engine in it, i just bought it, and the guy that had it before me did a engine swap, and just glued the two different air cleaner box hoses together (a oval one from the firebird engine, and a round one from the camaro), and i was wondering if there was a place i can get a hose, and air box cover that is not rigged together, or just a cheap cold air induction kit, the ones i have found are like $250.00

Thanks:
Tom

$250 is doing pretty good these days.

http://www.ramairbox.com/price_list.html , F14x3@110 H.O., $327.45.

Got a pic of that air cleaner you've got now?

heres a pic

sorry for the crappy quality, and yes I know my engine is rusty, you don't need to remind me, I am going to rebuild it over the summer, and get it repainted, and is there any way to easilly tell what kind of engine your 3rd gen has, because I think that my engine came out of a 87 trans am, and the guy i bought the car from don't know what kind of car it came out of (he said he thinks it is a 305 from a 87 fire bird, but as far as I can find the 87 fire bird had 305's with 4bbl carbs, not TPI), and the guy that did the engine swap moved to another state, so i cant ask him, but the car has firebird gta rims, that i was told came off the car with the engine my camaro now has

Thanks:
Tom
