tpi accessories on lt1?

hi why nobody keep the tpi accessories( water pump,demper pulley with timing mark, tensionor,timming cover, power stering, alt.)for a lt1 swap in a 3 rd gen if i want to keep the distrubutor? because i bought a lt-1 and i would have to spend to much $$$ to purchase all the accessories missing...ant the lt-1 engine does not have timing mark on timing chain cover and the demper pulley. plz help

For one thing, the LT1 waterpump is totally different from a std SBC waterpump... its not belt driven, and its also totally different internally and externally. The LT1 waterpump also will not have the necessary mounting holes for the old style brackets.

That crazy, Smokey Yunick reverse cooling thing!

Aren't there guys who re-work the LT1 heads and intake to run off of TPI setups?
