| Swapped in 350 GM Goodwrench 10067353
I just put one of these in my 84 L69 in place of the badly broken 305. Transmission is a 4L60E with a shift kit and 3.73 rear differential (stock). Stock intake and exhaust manifolds, original quadrajet carb, 2.75 inch exhaust, and AC. I know it's not a performance engine, but I'm impressed. It really makes that "H.O." look like an over-reving gopher. Anyway, it worked out well and I am happy with the slight but very noticable performance increase. It's also still very drivable, except for where the tires hop going into second gear. I can change the heads and cam later, but right now I don't really need to.
Had to share the joy of getting one back on the road after 6 months. | | |
