Well, I guess thats the great thing about a v8 powered Chevy, you've got a LOT of motor choices. A boneyard build is defintely an option. For me, the Fastburn 383 is looking like a great street/strip motor, lots-o-torque and built strong.
You're missing the point. My father has a fully assembled 327 with 350 bowtie heads and all. Everything on it is 100% complete and ready to be bolted in.

I already said how to make a stroker out of it. Put a 350 crank & pistons in it.
Or, a 3.75" stroke crank with appropriate .030" over pistons, and you'll have a 383.
