what power do you want to make? Choose the head you can afford thats gonna meet your goals. Any factory Iron head except for vortecs are pretty much junk. Best iron heads that have some potential are L98 083's. Vortecs are great heads tho for many builds

L98 aluminums arent that much better out the box than the iron cousins. Ported they are nice tho

+1 for the Vortec heads. they are awesome.

If you can swing for aluminum, AFR and Canfield work awesome. The AFR 190cc and 195cc are about as big as I'd go on a 355ci. They make great power for a TPI.

i am lookin to push out alot of power but not the gas mileage, i want it to stay fairly good. but i have a perfect TPI system to help with that.

If you want to be pushing much HP you won't be using the TPI system anymore. Plan on upgrading to mini-ram or the like.
How much you wanna spend? Aluminum canfields or patriots are awesome, but I hope you have $1200 burning a hole in your wallet.

yep stock TPI is not gonna get it done but then again how much is alot of power? To me thats near 400 to the wheels. Some ppl may think 400 on the motor at the flywheel is alot.

Re: wat kind of heads should i use on a 350 bored .30 over

well i dont know about 400 hp i am only 16 i dont think i could handle that,i have the 350 block bored .30 over with flat top pistons, a comp cams medium cam, and a set of camel backs that need a vavle job and the polished and painted TPI with a brand new fuel rail and throttle body.and other little things like valve covers and timing chain cover i am just not sure about the heads, should i redo the camelbacks or find good not to exspensive aluminum heads.
