Eletrical or Fuel Issue?? HELP

OK, I am the strange one here, but I need some help. I have a 1988 L98 TPI (corvette) engine that I installed into my 1983 Jeep. Used a Fuel Injection Specialties Wire harness and this unit ran extremely well and scary for a short wheel base jeep.

Problem, I have a ghost that is rearing it's ugly head consisting of one half of the engine quits firing or is not getting fuel to fire. Stays running, but is not smooth. Exhaust on one side is COLD and other side is warm/hot like should be (no exhaust cross over). I get no trouble code when this occurs. Local guys have no idea, have replaced coil, cap, plugs & wires, oxegen sensor etc.. with no help. I am clueless on this one. Good fuel pressure and spark (when running on all 8) have been unable to check for spark when only running on 4 cyl.

2nd problem, I vaper locked my fuel pump high on a mountain pass last fall and am looking for advise on a good replacement / reliable fuel pump to feet my baby. Not fun trying to bleed air from system with others stacked behind you on a single wide trail and icing pump to cool it. Someone thought my pressure relief unit may be the cause of the vaper lock?? No Clue again.

Gotta say that TPI is awsome when running in the rough stuff.

HELP

Thanks

Re: Eletrical or Fuel Issue?? HELP

The first is a new one on me.... maybe a loose connection or something. The vapor lock is either caused by no air allowed into the tank, or a pinhole leak in a line. Replacing the pump won't fix either. I think the easiest way to fix it ould be a vented gas cap.
