305 carb to 350 tpi gas milage?

my z28 was just smashed in an accident and im not entirely sure if shes gonna make it. shes got a carbed 305 and if i have to buy a new car im not going anything less then a tpi motor and i want a 350 so will i notice a mjor difference in gas mileage? cuz ive been told not. thanks in advance

Properly tuned, TPI will get better mileage than carb.

Yes. It's a much more efficient system.

In fact, LT1's get better mileage than L98's, and LS1's get better mileage than LT1's, even though each represents a step up in power.
