do i just put the passenger side motor mount backwards to where the front of the mount is in the holes where the back of the mount was originally and then drill out a third hole for a where the back of the mount is moves to?
If you're putting the motor in an orignal V8 car, you have to use the clamshells off of the original motor, or if you don't have them you need some for a standard SBC.
i did put the clam shells from the original motor on the lt1 but it didnt look straight to me, plus the clam shells looked identical to the lt1 originals?? i didnt look if there was a way to mount the passenger side clam differently however....

fyi the motor came out of a 94 caprice and the car is an 86 z28

ok i went and looked at it better and found that the emissions tube was mounted on the raised hole for mounting the clamshell in proper location for the thirdgen. thanks
