Where did you get your crate engine from?

Hey guys. Im lookin to find out where I can get a good crate 350 1pc rear roller cam shortblock/longblock online. Ive been looking but everything is 2pc and flat tappet. All the searches ive done on here are too much to sort through.

I was hoping to get something that wouldnt mind 6500 rpm. Im not looking for tons of torque and I dont really want a 383. I want to find a 350 that likes to rev like a 327 , especially because im planning on using my HSR and a 383 would run out of air too early with that. And preferably a company that doesnt re-use stock rods. A cast steel crank should be fine, and I would like the insurance of forged slugs so I can play more later on.

anyone have a site they would recomend looking at?

If you're particular, you might have better luck having something custom-built.

Re: Where did you get your crate engine from?

Your better off finding a local shop that can build you an engine This way if you have any issues with the engine you can go directly to them. You can inform them what you want the engine to do and also give them the parts to build your engine. This is the route I went except I assembled the engine myself.
