Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
i am starting to wonder why you bother to ask us anything when its glaringly obvious that you are much better at research than some of us are. i much prefer to beat my head aginst the wall for a few hours or just blow it up then read the instructions. if i'm not pissed off at the car, i'm not happy!??

From G tech, It is an expandable gauge, EGS, I added an accelorometer but I can not calibrate it becuase at idle, car vibrates too much that it can not understand that there is gravity
I also added the air fuel ratio component too... http://www.gtechpro.com/egs.html

Vey well....
I went to a track day, (with very crappy tires and without rollcage). I did a time of 58 which is a good start... Cayman S completes the lap in 56sec... It was my first time on track with the new car, I was thinking about using trail braking method because of the massive weight in front but it was a terrifing experience, I was expecting some loss in traction at rear but wooahhh, It was massive, I hardly kept it on track I will add some photos now... My dad was there too with his 74 camaro z28 (factory original)
I arranged the track day, every one who compete was from school...
Here we go...
Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Here are some photos from the day... I will put a series of photos which shows my line in 3 corners.... I will show the corners from the track map... But here are some randoms...
Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Now I will add the photo series but I can only add 5 at a time... First you can see what turns you can see in the photos, the yellow line shows the turns... And this is the track...
here is the drag with cayman S, PLEASE read the info, I know that I will beat the Cayman S with no worries but my tires were real crap.... First 3 gears, I was spinning... : http://videos.streetfire.net/video/5...S-S_683151.htm
Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Here is an update:
I am using a cryO2 system on oil my oil cooler, I added the double din fans too, I will put some photos later, but here is a question, I know that there are some N2O systems for cooling the intercoolers... I came up with an idea but I'm not sure, I want to ask you guys...: I thought about putting alcohol in to the CryO2 tank instead of water and spray it to my radiator... Is it safe to spray alcohol on the radiator? (heat is the problem...)

Hello again,
After a little break I am back on business, I had my finals and I completed all the lessons... Yieppee... Anyhow I did some changes on the car too. I bought a set of 18" wheels with 275 at back and 245 in front... Let me show some pictures... Tires are Kumho Ecsta SPT
And I made a video of my car, I think you will LOVE it...
Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Man...that car is awesome.
When I first saw your hood...I was kinda thrown off by it. The more I look at it...the more I really like it. haha. You did a really good job. Not much you can do there with that much motor trying to poke up through the hood. Its definatly a "Ram Jet" now!
Great car and great work!!
Justin

Thanks a lot man, wait a little bit more and you will see the cage installed... I guess It will help a lot about the handling issuies, 4 days later we are having another track day, I hope I get some good camera shots and I will post the video here...
Wish me luck

this video was taken in a track day with more superior cars (corvettes, mercedes' porsche turbos), I am currently waiting for a new clutch kit from 5speedtransmissions (I have been waiting the clutch for a month...Still nothing...)
Right now I am trying to complete the interior of the car, I will add some photos soon...
take care...
Thanks to Dean, we are working on the chassis, I received my new parts (camber caster plates, new spohn del sphere bars, panhard bar elocation bracket) Right now I am trying to shorted the oil pan so that we can reduce the ride height, I will ask some questions about that issue later...

58 psi is what your fuel pressure should be for optimum atomization,
i would defenitly upgrade your fuel pump. the psi is important, but flow is just as important if not more.
here is a simple test you can do, excellent article as well. http://www.barrygrant.com/bgfuel/default.aspx?page=81
you are running a much much larger engine, and the factory fuel pump is not designed for that size of engine. i would recommend running an aeromotive fuel pump or similar- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AEI-11106
i dont remember seeing you upgrade your fuel lines, but if you havent, i would recommend at least 1/2in or 8AN feed line.
this will feed all the horsies you are pushing, and keep you from going lean, witch can destroy that beast of an engine.

Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Here is the thing that I am working on right now, wrapping the rollbar... And some photos of the new camber caster plates from hotpart.com. Again I want to thank Dean (Vetruck) for helping me out while tuning this monster's chasis... I will be back on you Dean
Brain from hotpart.com helped me out too, I guess he is following this site too but I do not know if he knows this topic or not... Anyhow big thanks to Brain too...
Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
holy crap
thats awesome.
i just found this haha.
for the hood, it looks good but i would almost bring it back down to meet up with the nose instead of just having a flat wall...
either way, wow... just wow
Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Thanks a lot...
It is not flat actually it has a negative angle, I mean It ends with going back of the hood which I tried to sharped to nose but however, It is a really heavy hood... I need to get rid of it and find a way to fit a light hood...
If you look from side, you will understand what I am trying to say... (I wonder if it has a side photo or not, I do not remember)

Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
I guess they were around 240 dollars...
The cage wrapping is basically a towrope
I did considered but the problem with a cowl hood is that it is higher at the wrong side... I need space at the front of the hood, exactly the opposite with the cowl hood...

Re: Finally it is happening (305-502, auto- manual, drum-disc swaps...)
Hey Berk, things are looking good. I was just checking in to see what you've been up to. You are going to notice a major steering difference as well as front damper difference with those strut mounts. It will be like night and day driving the car with the new mounts on something with that much nose weight. Those factory rubber strut mounts I guarantee were slopping play and not allowing the strut damper to function as well.
