How are you going to do that with a Pontiac engine in it? Won't they pick that up right away? I am in Wy and don't have any emissions at all so I don't know anything about emissions lol.

Right but TBI looks an awful lot like a carb. So run carb and tell them it is TBI. What is the physical size difference between the 455 and a small block anyway? I mean, I know you know the guy and all, but isn't that a big difference?

So keep the computer of you TBI and all the wireing and hook it up to the carborated engine. All you need is the starting, charging, and ignition circuit. You won't need a computer for the carburated engine.

i have fuel injection now. so if i just hooked it up the computer would freak, plus even if i had tbi i would have to get it reprogramed or a chip burnt, because it a dif. motor-fuel to air mixture, spark, etc. which is money/time i dont have.
