1986 Iroc 468 swap

Well It's been a few since I worked on it too many other projects. 402 swap to my sons 81 firebird a 4.6 swap int my 2001 mustang and now it's time to work on the 468 and get it running so last weekend I put the th400 behind the 468 since my son needed my 700r4. so last night I needed to fire up the drive to get it done so what i did was try to get it to fire up. NOt a big task but i had no power going to the electric fuel pump in the tank so i Had to get power to it. ran a few wires and bingo turn the key and the pump came on Now i had fuel to the regulator and carb.set it to 4 psi Played withthe timing and disconnected teh MSD 6a for some reason it wasn't working and pumped the gas 2 times turned the key and it roared to life. the wife came running I was shaking pictures off of the walls she wasn't happy that it was doing that but was happy to see the smile on my face. she said she has never heard a motor so loud. it a 469 with open shorty headers LOL I am happy as a pig in well you know the rest. not I need to run the wires i ran yesterday correctly and hook up the radiator. and a few other things and it should be on the road. the main thing i need to do is make a custom crossmember for the th400 long tail and do the tq arm. I can't wait. thats what would make it road worthy but i still need to pull the interior and install the cage and get some frame ties

I so happy to here it fire
