305 tpi to 350 tpi

I will start with that i am thinking of buying a trans am 86 its a 305 tpi but doesnt have the manifold, dash and shifter for 600Dollars and i have a 89 iroc 350 tpi engine i bought a month ago for $400 now i wanted to know if it would be able to work on it and if you guys know any one who knows around LA county in California i would really appreciate it thank you guys for the advice.(In advance0

Would it be a problem if i keep the computer from the trans am or should i put the one from the 350 and would it bolt to the trans it has and what other things would i need other than what i have the trans am is a tpi too

Only if you used the '86 TPI hardware. You can use the 350 injectors in the '86 TPI. The '89 base is slightly different, but you can put the rest of the '86 hardware on it.

So it would be better if i swap everything instead right are the trans am and camaro engines the same and how hard is it to do this kind of swap or should i get a mechanic to do it
