Looking for a good EFI engine

I'm looking for a replacement motor for my 92 Camaro RS 5.0 A4 with a BW 3.45 rear end in it. All the engines I see on websites either will not pass emissions or need to be carburated. I like the factory TPI but for the money I can probably get a better engine. I want aleast 300 - 350 horses. Can guys give me some links to to decent engines. Or suggestions

I like the the Ram Jet 350 but not sure if I could pass emissions in Georgia

Have you considered an LS1? Emissions-legal 305 net flywheel HP.

Re: Looking for a good EFI engine

Yes but a LS1 can get pretty pricey if you are not doing the swap yourself. I need something under 5000.00 installed

Re: Looking for a good EFI engine

Year one has a good deal on engines. Check with them. Tho you would have to change the cam and put your own TPI on it, for around $3000 its a heck of a deal. Summit has a 330 Hp engine for $2719.95. Again get a more TPI suited cam, your intake and you have realitvly cheap 300+hp engine. Get a Vortech TPI base
