yea i gotta say, ive never had a problem with a mechanical pump, and have had several issues with electric pumps. the 3 (really its 5 cuz i had to replace one, twice.) that i had were ok when they worked, but i had constant problems with the holley inline pump cutting out, and then finally burning up, twice.

i had replaced the entire fuel system on the car, it was wired properly, filtered properly, and the pickup wasnt covered or plugged, and after replacing it the second time and it failing, i got a 110 gph mechanical holley, and never had a problem after that.

unless you chince out and get a stock replacement (known to fail at the diaghram seals where its crimped together) then i whole heartedly believe in mechanical cam driven pumps, never had an aftermarket one fail. gonna go with holley again on my big block build.

sure no prob. im sure that a holley pump should be ok, and by the price im assuming its ebay or through a freind, etc. just remember to get a FPR, so you dont go blowing fuel past the needle n seat.

i cant recall if ive heard of KMJ off hand, but i know ive never bought from them, so no dice on a review. what are you thinking of getting from them?

kewl on the fuel pump, but please dont be suprised if it dont last long. the water pump you shouldnt need an electric unless your going like full race, or unless you wont have a cowl hood or vent of some kind. im going to use an aluminum replacement rad, edelbrock high flow aluminum pump and will have a 2.5 inch 'glass cowl hood with 4 inch intake vents. electrics arent necessarily bad, but they draw alot of amps...also for 100 bux, id be wary. remember you get what you pay for. not saying to throw money at it, but if a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is.

i know from experience it sucks to buy stuff at a bargain, then have to replace it almost immediately cuz it doesnt support what you got. neway just my 2 cents.

It seems too good ill give it to you but for now it will havw to do cuz many of the parts i need are a little expensive. Besides i just want to get the car running then ill go for higher quality parts. I really appreciate the reply. I have asked about the company i am buying all this from but apparently nobody know. I truly hope it lasts a while.

yea i know how that goes, im still getting a few parts, and its kinda being a pain in the pocket book if you know what i mean. i understand using the cheaper stuff, just be careful, cuz it really can hurt your build.

but neway, if they work till you can get good parts, then swap them out, it should be ok i think.

buying from no-name companies scares me nemore. at first i was all about the cheap prices n stuff, then i noticed the quality kinda sucked bad.
