Not sure what year your car is. Not sure how much good a wiring diagram would do since it's been modified, but here's the pin-out of the bulkhead connector http://www.team3rdgen.com/modules/3r.../1987_c100.gif

Not sure what size the motor mount bolts are. Probably easiest to go to the junkyard and get them there, most Chevy 80's V8's used the same mounts.

Centerdump rams horn exhaust manifolds won't fit in the chassis.

The water pump and bellhousing mount bolts are 3/8". There are different lengths required. Standard grade are okay for the water pump, but the bellhousing bolts should be at least Grade 5.

Re: 350 t5 swap questions

lol i suppose it would help if i told you it was a 83 firebird, originally a v6 i beleave, i mainly just want to find the power source for all the stuff in the car, lights, guages ect so when i turn the key everything turns on lol and im completely lost under there no clue were anything goes, there still is a big round plug on the driver side with some wires, where does the battery cable go just to the starter? where does the power come from for everything else in the car?

will that c100 diagram from an 87 be the same as the the 83s?

This is closer to '83 http://www.team3rdgen.com/modules/3r.../1985_c100.gif . They didn't change a lot, the differences probably won't affect what you're doing.

The positive battery cable goes to the large terminal on the starter solenoid. Attached to it is a 10 gauge red wire that goes to the chassis to power all other functions. I'm trying to visualize, I believe it splits into two fusible links, which go to A4 and G5 in the schematic above (don't take that as gospel, I'm operating off of memory).

All the bolts you're looking for are 3/8-16NC thread. The only possible exception would be the bellhousing bolts. I just replaced all the others on my engine(72 350 SBC) and that's what size fit the holes in mine. I bought 1" Grade 8 bolts for the engine mounts, 1" Grade 5 bolts for my headers(they have a 1/4" flange), the water pump bolts I reused but I believe they were 2 1/2" long. The bellhousing ones I haven't gotten to yet since the engine is still on the stand, but if I had to guess, I would say to use 1 1/2" bolts.

Re: 350 t5 swap questions

it was said the center dumps wouldn't clear the chassis right? lookin closer at my car today i realized someone b4 me cut up the engine cradle, the exuast comes straight up into the cut out sections of the crossmember engine cradle, they welded in metal to close the gaps i will have to take some pics and post them, think this is safe?

It all depends on where they made the cuts, how much metal was removed, and the quality of their welds. There's no way to know without seeing it.
