| 1992 305 TBI to 350TPI swap
| Hello all.....I need some help....I am swaping a 350TPI into my 1992 RS 305 TBI....the motor that I got came out of a GTA...I don't know the year of the block but I have the #'s off the block...they are IO37..... 1409363 8....I also got the complete ECU and the wiring harness....not only the engine wiring harness but also the dash wiring harness...all the plugs match up with the exception of some of the wires in the plug are either missing or different than the harness that is in the car now...I can only assume that it is because the motor came out of a GTA with the digital dash ???? maybe...im not sure. Are there any modifications that I have to make to the wiring or can I come right off the computer and plug directly into the harness already in my car ??? The person I got the motor from didn't remember what year the GTA was. THANKS !!!!!! | | | |
