I Plan on taking out the 305 out of her and putting a 383 Stroker in her on a 150hp Shot of NOS I will post more when i start on her witch should be this sunday. Belive it or not this car has the Carburated 305 in it witch i find is pretty rare in a Berlinetta Sports Coupe so if any questions message me about her. i will be posting more when i start yanking the 305 out. But i cannot keep the 305 in her cause the block is cracked. But other than that the cars in GREAT shape.

There were no 1987 Berlinetta's. 1986 was the last year.
Check your facts. it is an 87 i looked up the vin numbers. its a 1987 Berlinetta Sport Coupe, With the 305 5.0 V8 Carb'd. It's really rare from what pepole have been telling me but i decided to yank that junky 305 out and go with something a quite bit faster. Cough Cough 383 Stroker :]
Okay that's a lie cause when i bout the car it had a front mounting bracket were you put your licenses plate that said Berlinetta Sport Coupe and i looked on the side door it said it was an 87 and it has the LT badges so its an LT at that to.. LT and Berlinetta = The same thing right? Well just about anyways. Im sorry im kinda newbie at the third gens i didnt plan on getting a 3rd gen i planed on getting a ls1 2002 6 Speed SS Camaro until i figured out i can save 20gz and buy this car for 300$ and do alot more to it.

The front plastic on my car for the plate says Sport Coupe and Berlinetta. The Berlinetta will have an S in the the VIN #. Yes, LT's are becoming more rare and almost like a Berlinetta but the LT does not have the electronic cluster from 84-86 and the LT had the same suspension as the 1987 Sport Coupe as well as the exhaust. LT was plush but sportier than the Berlinetta since the Berlinetta does not have a rear sway bar.
87BerlinettaSC, where (what country) was this car originally delivered?
USA as far as i know exuse me for being so late on the come back i have been working alot on her these past few weeks. TCI 350TH Is about to come home and im about to drop her in :]
86 was the last year they made the sports coupe, thats a fact. I actually own an 86 sports coupe, 5.0 v8 carb, low output slow *** engine i think somewhere around 155hp and 245ft-lb were the specs on my engine. Same color as yours too, ugly gray but mine had the black around the very bottom with stupid red, black, and grey pinstriping that i'm still trying to pull off.

Yeah they might be slow but you have to be proud of them. Well shes a berlinetta i take it.
I am sure that GM just continued with the same tooling to make the front bracket or more than likely had a reserve of them. Due to slow sales of the Berlinetta and even more the LT (794 total of RPO B4E) again, why bother changing a part of a car that will really be seen without the plate. Personally, I hate the bracket and prefer the looks of the cars without it. But John Law likes to pull over cars without them.
