Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

There is a sticky in the top section of the Carburetor forum detailing how to modify an in-tank electric pump EFI pick-up for use with an external pump.

You don't need to set the pressure on mechanical pumps. They are self-regulating. A Carter M6626 is a good choice because it retains the return function (helps keep the fuel cooler and avoid vapor lock).

You will have to do some adapting to get the fuel line(s) connected to the mechanical pump.
