305 to 350 Motor Mount Question

I am dropping in a crate 350 because my 305 blew up, anyways, I was wondering if the motor mounts go in the same exact way as the 305. Should it be turned towards the front to use the mount towards the back of the car or the one towards the front of the car.

Here is a pic of what I mean (sorry if you can't tell, cell phone)

Question is should the bottom bolt be using the one I am now, or the other one for the 350? I would assume it is the same but you know I don't want to just continue onwards with them and find out it was the other way considering how much of a pain these are to do.

Thanks.

the motor mounts are the same for a 305 or a 350, the clamshells that go on the motor, however, are left and right make sure you put them on the same sides that they came off of.

Re: 305 to 350 Motor Mount Question

That's how I bolted my mounts in when I swapped from the V6 to the 350. Everything lines up just like it used to.

Re: 305 to 350 Motor Mount Question

Crate engines don't come with mounts, just reuse the 305 stuff as it was with the 305.
