305 Engine Rebuild

my car has a 305 crossfire tbi, How much do you guys think it will be to have it rebuilt, with just regular parts. And what is the cheapest mod u think i can to to get more hp? thanks

Hmmm. The cost to get that 305 rebuilt might not be worth it, if you want more power. You could possibly find a 350 tpi and computer and put it in there, for around the same cost as getting your 305 rebuilt and modded. From what I've read and learned, it's not worth it to try to mod a 305, if you're looking for power, because you can get WAY more power from a 350, and it costs the same as it would if you modded a 305. I would guess that a rebuild on your 305 would be at least a grand, for pulling the engine, parts, rebuilding it, then putting it back into the car.
