Car: 82 Berlinetta(2)/57 Bel Air Engine: LS1 (LS1)/LQ4 Transmission: 4L60E (T56)/4L80E Axle/Gears: 10B 3.73(9" 4.11)/8.2" 4.11 | Everything will be fine if the flexplate has the TH700R-4 converter bolt hole pattern. The bellhousings are identical between SBC's and BBC's. Even the distance from the bellhousing to the side engine mount bolts is the same.
That applies to everything being fine for bolting it up. If the rebuild was a stock rebuild, you might be pulling the transmission again soon after getting the beast running.
Got any details on the 396?
(Funny, the pop-up ad while I was typing this was advertising insurance for $396. . .) |
