As I said above, if you just change the engine, you won't have to change the wiring. You will have to change the intake manifold and deal with the bolt issue I talked about. Otherwise, the engine will bolt in under your existing '86
TPI.
If you put the "
throttle body" induction system, engine, all of the stuff from the '91 into the '86, that's when you have to change the wiring, computer, etc.
