another day same thing

ok you probly answer this question alot.but i purchesed a chevy 350 my question can i use my tbi to avoid messing with computer craap.im new to computerd cars and the do and the donts any anwers will help .p.s. can a 350 turbo short tail work for replacement tranny

On the TBI forum there is a sticky about a budget 350 swap. I believe that claims no computer retuning required. But, a lot depends upon the 350 you've got, the cam it has, etc.

Yes and no. Yes, it can be used, but modifications are required. You'll need to modify/replace the tranny crossmember, hook the torque arm to something, and get a longer driveshaft. 2 of the 3 can be handled with '82/'83 TH200C or 4 speed parts, but you still wouldn't have anything to hook the torque arm to. TGO sponsor Spohn has swap parts to handle it all (and handle it well, I might add).

What tranny do you have now, and why are you considering a TH350?

im not a guy was selling one for a hundred and my 700r4 crapped on me.but im swaping to a sbc 350 from 305 h.o. motor and was told i need a kit to prevent tourqe converter from spining cause im going to try to get rid of computer and carb it but dont know
