Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

You can get a TH350 swap crossmember from TGO sponsor Spohn. They also have a torque arm that can be mounted to their crossmember, a good set-up. But, proper ladder bars would eliminate the need for a torque arm.

Are you planning a back-half? Tubs?

Re: motor and tranny swap tips?

not planing much for the rear. i still want the car to be streetable. i no itll be hard and get about 2 mpg but i want to be able to drive to the track and shows for lack of a bigger truck to haul with. i was told i can get 235 15 in the back of it with out it sticking out past the car much. i am looking to make atleast 700 on motor and over 900 on a 200 shot on nos. if i cant get the car to hook at the track at all im goin to tub it but i really wana stay away from that.

235? That's nothing. Stock they could have 245's. See Stephens car. I think he has 315's, and they don't stick out at all.
