So I'm guessing the inspector didn't know that year model wasn't carb'd?

Re: Clean 88 Camaro 350 budget build

Well I got the car to where I needed it... The 305 developed a knock so 350 here we come. I was hoping the 305 would hold out until the spring but it was a well used motor. I still have the 350 block but I am looking for a lower mileage 350 that does not need a rebuild... In other words something I can drop right in for now!

L05 ready to be swapped in tomorrow. I pushed the engine up the incline on the crane... It wasn't fun.

New engine is in the car and it runs! My neighbor came out swearing at me at 7:47PM screaming "ITS 8PM YOU LITTLE F&*# and such" so I only let it run for about 30 seconds but I should be driving the car Saturday. It is amazing how fast a swap goes once you have done one.
