TBI->TPI Swap- Differences between years?

Hi everybody, this is a TBI to TPI swap question thread. I searched around about this swap all afternoon, and I'm aware of What's required (From the intake up, the ecm and harness, the fuel pump, and the rad. fan(?)) but I have run into a few concerns.

Here is the situation. I have an '88 Trans Am with a 305 TBI L03. On craigslist I found an '86 z28 which runs, drives, and lives for $600. So immediately- I am thinking swaps. I'm looking to swap from the '86 to the '88. I saw some issues regarding pre-'85 intake manifolds and bolt locations, so my question to you, TGO-guys, will I run in to any problems doing this swap with an '86 TPI set up onto an '88 305?

P.S. I'm thinking of putting the TBI onto the Camaro afterwards and trying to sell it or drive it if the car is in good shape- I'm assuming this is the same procedure, though I'm doubting that many people have documented this...

The year break for intake bolt pattern was '86-earlier and '87-later.
