Any advice on my engine swap

My 89 was totaled and I have been trying to get a new one for a year now and I finally settled for a 92 RS 305 TBI w/ a 350 turbo 3 speed tranny. and a 82 Z28 350 Holley Carb w/ a turbo 400 3 speed tranny. I like them both the 92 is metallic blue w/ T-tops and the 82 is a hardtop that is Orange with primer colored trim. 82 is from Indiana and has rust on the under the wheel wells its not bad but its there, and 92 has been mistreated there is no gas pedal only the bar is left and the gauges do not work, anyways my soon to be wife likes T-tops and the blue one, so my plan:

Is to swap the engine and trans; 82 to the 92 and 92 to the 82, I have a bunch of goodies for the 350 such as new 2 new intakes for 2 different setups im debating, I have a new cam, crank, ditributer, chip for the ecm, headers, and sub-frame connectors, and a GTA rear posi with disc brakes.

Now I have a couple options here:

1. I can leave the 92 fuel injected and put the chip in it and put a big block throttle body me and my father built for another project.

2. I can go with a little bit more unique approach, Me and my father rebuilt and old triple carb setup and its just sitting there waiting for a project.

I plan on selling the 82 when its all said and done, It will have the 305 which i will carburate and the 350 turbo tranny, I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions, because they both appeal to me, any advice or problems you have had with your engine swaps, anything would be appreciated,

I prefer fuel injected but only if it is TPI. If i were in ur shoes i would swap the 82's 350 and th400 into the 92. Sounds more promising that way but just be careful with ur state emissions laws (if any).
then again... maybe i'd keep both... depending on your financial status ofcourse.
