But you are sticking with your carb, and just need to get gas to it since the mechanical fuel pump won't bolt on the new block, right?
If this is the case, then I would think that you could add any inline elctric fuel pump to your system, since you are carb originally you just have a carb pickup in your tank (I assume), and thus any electric pump making 5-7psi will work inline. As I understand it, you'll want to mount it as close to the gas tank as possible, as they can be noisy, and they perform better being closer to the tank (not having to pump from so far away). But get a second opinion on this.
