Ok I think I have put a list of stuff together, wanted to see what you guys think, so here we go. All of this list is from Competion Products. The engine is a 91 L98 TPI 350 that I am going to convert to carb.

Cam = Chev 305-350 ('87-'94 w/OE roller lifters)
Duration @ .050": 230/230
Adv. Duration: 306/306
Lift: .480/.480
Lobe Center: 108
2500-5800, Moderate idle, Street/Strip


Lifters = Chev SB, OE Roller Blks

Springs = O.D.: 1.265
I.D.: .875
Style: Single w/Damp
Seat Pressure: 115 @ 1.750
Open Pressure: 340 @ 1.250
Rate: 425
Coil Bind: 1.150
Max Lift: .550
Retainer: 97112, 97132, 97214


Rockers = Chev SB (87-Up), 3/8" 1.5, Self Aligning

Push Rods = 5/16", 7.195"

Intake = Professional Products, CrossWind Dual Plane Intake, Chev SB

Headers = Hooker Headers 2055-1HKR

Stall = 2800 (not from Comp Products)

In another thread I suggested having the top of the valve guides cut for positive type stem seals and port/bowl clean-up. That's a good start.

Pinning the rocker studs or having screw-in studs installed wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

I have been talking to the guy that did a lot of LS1 work for me. I am going to just take the heads to him and figure out what they need from there. I was thinking since they will be out there anyways might as well do it right.
