Can I put '86 305 heads and TPI on a 383 Stroker?

I am going to buy or build a 383 stroker. I want to do this in steps. I'd like to be able to use the heads and TPI on the 383 until I can buy better heads. Can I use the '86 heads and the TPI on a 383? I built up the heads with Magnum roller tip rockers and lightweight valves a while ago so I'd like to keep them as long as I can (to save up some more $$$). What heads would you guys recommend for the 383? Thanks for all your help.

You can but you're not going to happy with them. 305 heads can't flow enough air to feed a 383.
