Re: Fuel Injection to Carb

4-6 lbs should be fine for a carb setup as long as you dont run out of fuel at wide open throttle and if so bump up the pressure

Re: Fuel Injection to Carb

If you're running out of fuel at WOT, you need to increase the volume of fuel delivered, not the pressure.

for instance you have one holley fuel pump w/ a regulator and u set the regulator to 9 lbs and run the hose into a gallon jug and you put the same pump setup into a diffrent jug set at 4lbs. are jugs are gonna fill up at the same time? but if the one w/ 9lbs fills up quicker, then the fuel volume delivered would depend on the pressure, if im wrong about this let me know

Re: Fuel Injection to Carb

They'll fill at the same time because they'll be under the same nearly-zero pressure when they're dumping out of an open hose.

so if a carb was running out of fuel at WOT at 4lbs of pressure then bumping up the pressure (as long as it didnt push threw the needle and seat) would not help what so ever?
