If, anybody wants to know I found a feature in CARCRAFT magazine June's 1998, about a guy by the name of Neal Owens of Wilmington Delaware, there he races a 1992 Firebird
with a build up 455 Pontiac, jamed in under the hood.
The motor's bored 0.034 over, 11.0:1 pistons, solid cam, 69 RamAir 4 heads, Edelbrock Victor intake, Holley 1050cfm, Turbo400 tranny, 12 bolt posi, no Nitrous, and runs 9.90 at 135.93 at Palm Beach.
The motor looks right at home in the FB.
The magazine says that his day job is Service Manager at a Chrysler dealership.
If anybody hails from that part of the country, see what info can be passed onto the rest of us.
do a search in this forum, a couple of threads have been done, but the more info on poncho mills in 3rd gens the better

Go to Pontiacpower1.com. Awesome Pontiac tech site. Bruce Fulper from Rock & Roll Engineering has a tech forum(Q & A with Bruce). Bruce has a low 10 second GT/DA Super Stock Firebird with a 400 Pontiac. This is even with a Q-jet carb. There is a thread on his forum showing his third gen with the front wheels about 2 feet in the air.
