Coil Spring compressors

Anybody in the UK know where I can get a set of compressors man enough to handle a front set of Eibach springs?(got them for £160!!!)Most of the ones I've seen don't look up to much. This is the first time I've been on this site for a long time(women eh!) so I was very pleasantly suprised to see the European board.Loads of thanks and very well done to all those who made it possible.I'm going to check out Shakespeare county raceway out this weekend if the weather is ok.Wasn't very impressed with the track at the last top fuel meeting 2 weeks ago.The organisers didn't use any grip juice on the track and as a result cars were spinning all over the place.Just as it seems scr get their act together it all goes wrong again, shame as it certainly has the potential to be as good as santa pod(and it's just down the road!)Would be good to meet the people on this board down there.

Re: Coil Spring compressors

Firstly, where did you get the springs for £160?

Secondly, I saw a set of spring compressors in Halfords the other week that I though "looked" like they would work for our cars. Difficult to tell as there have been lots of reports of people not managing to get them compressed then into place due to the size/shape? of the compressors.

Hi Erik! I know what you mean about women.... Good to have you back!

I have found in the past that Shakespeare County has been a better and grippier track than Santa Pod! Funny how it goes. I have run my best time there despite having a peg legged rear at the time!

I will definitely be there- weather permitting! I remember once a friend and I went to Santa Pod from London and on the way the weather was so bad that cars had aquaplaned off the motorway into the central reservation it was raining so hard. We carried on anyway and when we got there were able to make 5 runs.... So it will have to be severe to keep me away!

Cheers,
Felix
