I thought about the Quattro UR Turbo- but it's not
special enough for a weekend warrior. Though I do love the classic straight 5 warble- almost as nice as a V8 (almost)

Gordon, the advertised elsewhere is a good thing. I know with my situation- it was changing daily and up to the last day I thought there may be a chance of me not selling thus needed a get out clause. Also if I had the time etc to advertise in Classic American and ebay and someone from CA came to see the car and offered full price then I wouldn't hesitate to end the auction early. It's what's best for the seller- if the car is right, then your offer price should be right and therefore a done deal
