Car: Camaro IROC Engine: 305ci Transmission: 700r4 | Pics ! At Last !! Hi Guys,
Here are some photos of my IROC.
I am a coachbuilder by trade, not a painter, but decided I would try it myself ! She was white when I got her, but now she is RED.
Decided to keep the IROC decals, I know, I know !
Roll on some decent summer weather and some cruising !!

Car: 87 IROC Engine: modded LB9 Transmission: Pro Built 700R4 | Looks good. Did you make the IROC decals yourself? I can't decide whether to put the decals back on mine or not.
I'd remove the rear fog light and the front number plate though. |

Car: Camaro IROC Engine: 305ci Transmission: 700r4 | My mate works in a Graphic dept of a Coachbuilders, he made em up.
Not exactly a perfect copy, but not too far away either.
Fog light will be intergrated into the rear light cluster shortly, another thing on the "to-do list"
The decals are down to your own personal taste I suppose.
If it is an IROC, cant see any reason for leaving them off, other than preference.
Cheers,
Alan..... |

Car: VIN=85 T/A, CAR=82/3 T/A gfx, go figure. She's a T/A anyway! Engine: 5.0, Holley 600 cfm 4-barrel Transmission: THM350 ?? | Sweet ride Alan!
I agree about the front plate - may cause cooling problems. However, just where do you put that barn door?
Mark.

Mark. | sounds stupid, but the grille doesn't really affect cooling at all, the car draws its air from the air dam under the nose. |

Car: Audi A4 S line Engine: Tdi :( | Looks great- really does.
Personally I like the IROC decals on (but only when it is an IROC Phil ) It suits them and was part of the 80's thing. Do you remember in the 90's things like power steering, abs, DOHC made it onto the backs of cars or on the doors which took it a little far... But IROC is cool. They don't look like originals though, they have to be the real deal.
Never really thought of taking the front plate off mine- I would prefer not give the rozza's a reason to pull me over though- he could always find something else he wants to 'do' you for... Also never had cooling problems (until I sold it )
They do look good in red... (and white ) Looks like a great finish there Alan. You going to any shows this year?

Who knows what will happen before the summer !
Had plenty of help through this board in the past, for which I have been really gratefull, and old habits die hard !!

Car: Camaro IROC Engine: 305ci Transmission: 700r4 | Okeydokey !!
You want photos, and be bored ?? Here goes !
Sorry for the delay, not enough hours in the day just now
Enjoy anyways,
Story I got was
Imported almost 4 years ago, and partially stripped to return to as near as dammit new condition. Guy who imported it took a heart attack and was left paralysed
2 years later, the family put it up for sale. A trader bought it, no doubt for a song, advertised it, I bought it and started work !
First few photos are it when it arrived, next few, work in progress, and finally when finished !!
