UK Plate regulations

Okay ive had my Camaro for a few months now and all has been sweet apart from the Police. I had some troubles with the plate sizes, it has a motorcycle plate on the front and a stick on one at that since no where can put standard plate, since its an import im allowed a motorcycle plate. However stick on plates are ilegal but theres no place to put a plate on the front since i have a 91 with the fog lights. Any ideas how to get round this one. Ive filled a complaint against the police since they wont tell me what the law is let alone speak to an officer about it.

Re: UK Plate regulations

I don't run a front plate. I went in to the local station years ago with the ar and told them of the dilema of fitting one and they weren't bothered as long as I had one on the back...I do, but didn't bother mentioning that it can flip down. They said that I may get some issues with traffic cops but I have only had one incident and I told them that the bracked got broken in a car park when someone reversed into me and drove off. I carry the plate (US sized) in the car and stick it in the window if there iss an issue.

I did not know you were allowed to run motorcycle plates. If I have time I'll have a look and see what I can find regarding the legislation.
