hi mate, the engine is a 3.1 v6 with a 3 speed auto with overdrive which is excellent on fuel and smooth as you like.
put into drive and use kick down its a completly different car.

started off the wk end with an 18.6 on sat. finished off with a 17.3 on sunday, shes completly stock but since then ive changed the gear box fluid and filter as it would tend to hold on the gear a little to long.also done the pinion oil seal, oil and filter and now has new better rubber as it was on cooper cobras(nice) now on kuhmos which are a lot better.

One thing I noticed with the Kumho tyres is that the 245 Kumho was just over an inch narrower than a 245 BFG and Cooper Cobra tyre that I have. I run Kumhos because of the price but am interested in trying out other rubber to see what the persormance difference is.

Re: new firebird owner from the south west

i found the cooper cobras a little to hard for my liking.not a lot of grip ha ha.on the plus side takes ages to wear them out, even with doing burnouts but going round corners is another story.
would be better if i had a lsd though
