need help for my 87

alrite....heres the situation......i have an 87 sport coupe w/ a 2.8.... it sounds alright (louder than other 2.8s i've driven) but i want more.....i'm doing everything to pump the most horses out of my beast from a new exhaust/intake even down to a k&n filter.....I'm just looking for suggestions cuz i really don't know jack s**t when it comes to the difference between parts.....so any suggestions as to what air intake (cold if possible), dual exhaust (want a deep growling sound like a stock IROC) and any other mods that would help w/ the sound and horsepower.....thanx alot

Take out the motor and find somebody that has a cavalier and sell it to him. If you don't want to get a V8, look into a 4.3, vortex woudl be better. It is a 350 with the back two cylinders cut off. That would get you nice power, as far as the sound, SOL I think says it best. That is like tring to get a L4 have the lobing cam sound in the exhaust. In other words, sorry man, don't think it can be done. No replacement for Displacement. (author not sure)
