Taking off muffler/need advice

i'm taking off my old borla muffler and putting on a flowmaster 40 delta series. I'm sure this things been on a while but it's not been welded just clamped. I wondering if any you guys have any suggestions of getting it off the easy way. I'm not sure if it's been rusted around the area where the tubing connects to the muffler. Just need some advice to get it off without to many complications. Don't feel like hacking if you no what i mean.

The best thing to do is go to Auto Zone or Advance and get an exhaust pipe cutter. They should have one that looks like a chain with many wheels on it. That one is the best. I would cut the muffler side off and then if you have a hack saw cut the other pipe down the side, from the side you cut to the other edge, and use two vice grips to rip it off. That way you should leave the exhaust pipe in tack. Hope it helps.
