Its hard to obtain that sound with a V6, but Im sure a glasspack would do the trick

I dont want that sound all the time like a 445 would sound. I just like it when you shift down. So since I have the V6 it wont be happening? And I think if I got the glasspack it would sound like that all the time

The cam does have a lot to do with it, but a muffler is a lot easier to deal with and also alot cheaper!

Anyways, Monkie, I was able to get that sound out of my V6 every now and then and it was basically only because my muffler was shot...maybe try an exhaust cut out??

Trust me when I get my exhaust in about a month I will have dual 45 degree Borla tips on it. But I just dont have the $$ now for them. Do they really sound good? Just the tips?

When you say blow off valve, I assume this means you are putting a turbo motor in. An aftermarket blow off valve will sound sweeter than any gargling sound, so I woudn't worry about it. Just my two cents though.

Don't know about the Borla tips on a V6. Probably sound good. All the V6's around here with loud or "street-scene" exhaust systems are running a larger-than-necessary catback with a flowmaster for that "gargle" during backing off the throttle in low gears. It sounds alright, but I'm sure it's not doing too much for power. Most also have those giant tips on them, which is adding insult to injury. Ya might opt for just larger tips on a quality/matched catback setup for your car, or, just gut the cat.

Heck I can get that sound from my V6 by downshifting in my automatic. That simple.

the only way to get the gargling sound is with a v8 it's a signature sound, just like mustangs have a certain sound, camaros have a certain sound, trucks have a certain sound..........the gargling is distinctly to a V8 sorry a camshaft or a glass pack or any kind of performance mod aint gonna do it you need a v8

Ummmm lol, no. You can get that out of a V6. One of my friend has a white 94 V6 camaro and she has a Flowmaster on it and when she gears down it does that sound. And my other friend has a red 96 V6 maro and when he manually gears down his auto it does the same thing and he has some off brand exhaust on it. So dont tell me ONLY a V8 can do it.
